GADGETS4UK ENTERPRISES LTD is looking for a talented Web Designer to design, update and maintain websites for both clients and internal use.
You’ll work closely with other team members to create visually engaging, responsive and user-friendly websites while ensuring that content, functionality and design elements meet the required standards.
From initial design and content publishing through testing, launch and ongoing maintenance, you’ll play an important role in keeping the company’s websites fast, accessible, consistent and effective.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be involved throughout the website lifecycle, from design and content updates to testing, launch and ongoing maintenance.
Design & Content
- Design and update websites for clients and internal use
- Create responsive and mobile-friendly website layouts
- Maintain consistent branding across website design elements
- Write, edit and publish website content
- Work collaboratively with other team members on website projects
- Keep website content and design elements accurate and up to date
Testing & Maintenance
- Test website functionality before launch
- Test user interactions across devices and browsers
- Monitor website performance and functionality
- Maintain websites before and after launch
- Activate websites once they are ready to go live
- Identify and resolve website issues promptly

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer who can balance visual design, usability, content and website performance.
Technical Skills
- Proven experience in web design or website development
- Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design
- Good knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Understanding of website usability and user interaction
- Experience testing websites across browsers and devices
- Understanding of website performance optimisation
- Basic understanding of SEO and accessibility standards
- Experience working with content management systems

Education & eligibility

- Equivalent practical experience in web design and website management will also be considered.
- Demonstrable experience creating and maintaining responsive websites.
- Strong interest in modern web design trends, technologies and digital experiences.
Based in Lincoln
This is a full-time, on-site position based at 212 High Street, Lincoln, LN2 1AA, UK.
